With Iconic venues like Harpo’s, Emerald Theatre, Hayloft, & TNT’s vanishing faster than today’s “Chart Toppers”, the arrival of this new venue is a welcome sight as hundreds.......

Howard Crane in 1921, The Emerald Theatre in Downtown Mt Clemens is no stranger to the residents of Macomb County when it comes to entertainment. After nearly 70 years of languishing as a theatre, movie house, and general gathering place, The Macomb Theatre (as it was known then) was transformed during the early 90’s into a nightclub by adding the current seating arrangements and the full service bars. But it wasn’t until the mid 90’s that the theatre began to host concerts, eventually changed owners, and re-emerged as The Emerald Theatre in late 2000.
