Kid Rock lands on top with his latest effort “Rock & Roll Jesus” earning the #1 position on Billboards Album Chart. First week sales of the Top Dog/Atlantic Records effort lead the nation with unit sales of 170,000. For the record, this was not the Kid’s best week ever, selling 475,000 units of “History of Rock” in it’s first week for a #4 debut, but was enough to give Rock his highest chart position in his career. Kid Rock also announced to that his longtime manager, “Punch” Andrews, is retiring after seeing this album through it’s release. Vector Management of Nashville has been named as a replacement.
