Crud’s “Meat Detonation” on CBS’s Eleventh Hour Episode Airing November 20 Hot on the heels of recent high profile TV placements on Knight Rider (NBC), Burn Notice, (USA), and the Scream Awards, (Spike TV), Detroit electro rockers Crud have landed yet another television soundtrack appearance. Crud’s song Meat Detonation will be featured prominently on CBS’ Eleventh Hour, airing this Thursday November 20 at 10 p.m. The show reminiscent of the X Files and created by acclaimed film producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who hails from Detroit himself, follows Dr. Jacob Hood, a government employed science expert as he investigates scientific crises and oddities.
No strangers to television, Crud’s debut CD “Devil at the Wheel” (Full Effect Records/MRI) features fiendishly addictive tracks that have been the soundtrack of choice for numerous national television shows. In fact, Crud’s single Reality continues to receive massive TV airplay as the theme music for A&E’s CSI Miami promos. Additionally, the band’s song, All Used Up, also from “Devil at the Wheel” will be spotlighted in the new Andy Garcia and Ray Liotta film “La Linea” to be released in March 2009. Live, Crud delivers an intoxicating and provocative rock show like none other. Fronted by Detroit’s own Vinnie Dombroski from Sponge fame (who the Austin Chronicle calls one of rocks most mesmerizing front-men) and burlesque beauty Danielle Arsenault, Crud grinds out a visual and aural assault that leaves you begging for more. Band mates David Black (guitar), Dana Forrester (bass), and Eric Hoegemeyer (drums) set the stage ablaze with delicious gritty decadence. “Devil at the Wheel” is currently available in major stores (Borders, HMV) worldwide, and online at iTunes and fulleffectrecords.com.
