Jeff Gutt Explodes on iTunes Charts!
Jeff Gutt Rocks The Xfactor!
Detroit, MI- Local singer & contestant on FOX’s The X-Factor, Jeff Gutt, has exploded onto the iTunes charts overnight after his mesmerizing performances on last nights (Dec 11th, 2013) Semifinals show. Gutt, who’s down to the final four contestants out of 10’s of thousands of singers who auditioned for the show this past summer, blew the roof off of the CBS Television Studios in Hollywood with two spine tingling performances and a pulled off a slam dunk during the nights Duet Sing Off the 1983 hit, Every Breathe You Take by the Police, leaving Simon Cowell’s Country Pop Boy Band Restless Road in the dust along the way.
During the night’s first round of performances, current favorites Alex & Sierra, performed Little Talks and scored huge accolades from the judges, virtually being claimed the winners by Demi Lovato who chirped, “….I think we’re looking at the winners…..”. But in true DetroitRockCity style, Jeff Gutt met them head on with his version of Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah, catapulting all four judges to their feet for the first standing ovation of the night, bringing Lovato to the realization that “…..I know I just said that Alex & Sierra could be the winners….but I don’t know, I think it’s will be you two in the finals” as Simon Cowell chimed in with “that was one of the best versions of it I’ve ever heard it…..”, bringing the entire crowd to their feet again!
If you believe in charts, and who doesn’t these days, then we’ll have to agree with those judges as Gutt has just exploded overnight on the all mightily iTunes Rock charts, claiming 6 of the top 10 spots as of this morning! Gutt apparently has quite the social media following with the #JAGarmy, as they’re called, propelling him to the top of the “trending” charts too, in fact out of the four remaining contestants on the show, one glance at any Twitter of Facebook feed and you’ll instantly see what we mean.
